How we earn money
PrivacyLabz participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites (including Amazon.co.uk and other regional Amazon marketplaces).
We’re also part of the Silent Pocket affiliate program, and may earn a commission when you purchase Silent Pocket products through links on this site.
When you click a link to a product on PrivacyLabz and make a purchase — of that product or anything else during that shopping session, per each retailer’s own cookie policy — we may earn a small commission. This comes at no additional cost to you; the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or navigate to the retailer directly.
What this doesn’t change
Commission potential does not determine what we recommend or how we write about a product. Specifically:
- We don’t rank products by commission rate
- We call out weak or unsubstantiated manufacturer claims in the same articles that link to those products
- We include products with lower commissions, or no affiliate relationship at all, when they’re genuinely relevant
- Product placement, inclusion, or exclusion is an editorial decision, made independently of any advertising or affiliate relationship
If we haven’t physically tested a product, we say so. If a manufacturer’s claim isn’t independently verified, we label it as a manufacturer claim, not an established fact — regardless of whether that product happens to be one we earn a commission from.
How to tell which links are affiliate links
Product links on PrivacyLabz that lead to Amazon or Silent Pocket are affiliate links. We don’t individually flag every single one in-line, since it would clutter the reading experience, but this disclosure covers every such link sitewide, consistent with FTC guidance on affiliate disclosure.
